·   Three years of successful estimating and creating civil drawings using AutoCAD for roads, parking lots and drainage construction projects in public works at NSWC Crane.

·   Created mechanical drawings in AutoCAD to MIL specs for use on HMMWW military Shelters. 

·   Promoted to the drafting coordinator tasking the drafters to meet project schedules. 

·   I was recommended for a year of supervising the temporary machine shop parts quoting group, interacting and evaluating vendors, attaining competitive prices, monitoring parts, costs and coordinating timelines for production.

·   Currently I was selected to be the Configuration Management of mechanical drawings for drafting and engineering.  I provide a strong tracking, documentation and reporting of status for all drawings on multiple projects.

 

2003 – 2004

·   Created and completed architectural drawings utilizing AutoCAD for cut limestone fabrication as required for various contracts. 

·   I effectively worked with general contractors providing analyst support for creating estimates from take-off drawings, measuring cost and quantities.

 

1996 – 2003

Sr. Engineering Draftsman, Otis Elevator Company, Bloomington, IN

·   I created mechanical drawings of low-rise hydraulic elevators and completed Bill-of-Materials.

·   Occasionally I was called upon to fill in performing the scheduling of the weekly production run of 120 elevators. 

·   Promoted to drafting/designing high-rise geared/gearless elevators in metric for the UK, Israel and China markets.

 

 

·   Elected by majority and currently serving on the board of Cornerstone Worship Center church in Judah Indiana.

·   Experienced public speaking: I have been teaching a weekly class for adults since 2014.

 

 

·   Computer Skills: experience with MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Project & IE.
